We are excited to support a great cause in Kingston. We wish that all women could live in safety in their own home but reality isn't so kind.  

All funds raised from the silent auction and the live auction go directly to Dawn House. After expenses, excess funds from registration and merchandise sale also go to Dawn House. 

All the people you see working to make your NASSAM week fantastic are volunteers which keeps your costs down and maximizes the charity contributions. Be sure to say thanks when you see the volunteer badge.

Our Journey

Dawn House Women’s Shelter was founded in 1986 in response to a housing crisis in the City of Kingston. A diverse group of community individuals and organizations contributed to the setup and establishment as a non-profit, charitable organization that would provide a 24-hour crisis line and emergency shelter, support and resources for women over the age of 16, with or without children.
