If you haven't already paid for your cruise you will need to check in the store to see if any slots are available and only book a spot on Sign-up Genius if you are paid up. Sorry but slots are limited and if both days are sold out, you can no longer sign up. The good news, in that case, is that there are plenty of other exciting runs.
Our 1000 Island cruses will run on Tuesday and Thursday and each day there will be 4 runs of 10 cars (to keep the run size manageable). These runs converge all at once at the boat dock. That's 40 cars and a little under 80 people meeting to take the cruise and have lunch (all included in the cost). Each day there will be two routes. On route A (this one) 10 cars (A-1) will leave going clockwise around the route and 10 cars (A-2) will leave going counterclockwise.
Route A is the longer and a more spirited than Route B (see below).
For Route A-1 you will leave the hotel at 8:35 a.m. and make your way north through twisty roads to arrive at the docks by 10:30. The cruise leaves just before 11:00 and is back a little after 12 for a lovely buffet lunch (included) overlooking the harbor. After lunch your group will continue with a gently rolling drive through farmland and rolling hills back to the hotel by about 3:00 p.m.
For Route A-2 you will leave the hotel at 9:45 a.m. and make your way east through rolling countryside to arrive at the docks by 10:30. The cruise leaves just before 11:00 and is back a little after 12 for a lovely buffet lunch (included) overlooking the harbor. After lunch your group will continue with a spirited drive on exciting twisty roads and back to the hotel by about 3:30.

Route B is the shorter and more relaxed so choose this if you are squeamish about tight turns.
For route B-1 you leave the hotel at 9:10 and make your way north-east on some twisty, scenic roads arriving at the docks by 10:30. The cruise leaves just before 11:00 and is back a little after 12 for a lovely buffet lunch (included) overlooking the harbor. After lunch your group will continue with a scenic drive on the 1000 Island Parkway and back to the hotel by about 2:30.

IMPORTANT!!
This is NOT a day where you will race and beat your car up. We would have the track to ourselves and it is an amazing opportunity to receive some instruction on how to get the most fun out of your car and then take it out on a professional track and push it as hard as you are comfortable with. No racing, no damage involved.
Please be sure to take advantage of this opportunity if you are interested in learning more than you thought possible about you and your car. The day isn't pocket change ($500 cdn, about 360 us, including helmet rental) but it is very reasonable compared to similar events.
We need at least 20 cars to make this work and we now have 14 who are really excited about this so please get your name on the Signup Genius page (coming soon) so we can make this work.
You will leave the hotel at 8:00 a.m. and a short 1 hour drive through the countryside gets you to the track for 9. You'll get your helmet and a briefing as wall as some instruction before you get to try your hand on a road course and then you have it all to your own. You can get lunch at the track snack bar. The day is yours to go on and off the track as you are comfortable. After a long day you will leave at 4:00 p.m. and return back the easy route on the 401 highway.

This is all about the trip there and back and a fun parade run around the beautiful Calabogie track...Not a race, a guided circuit to get the feel of the track.
This is not confirmed yet but will be before the Signup Genius link is posted.
This run takes in some of the twistiest and most fun roads you will find anywhere. Because of this it is a challenging red run not for the timid driver.
Your day begins by leaving the hotel at 8:50 a.m. and you make you way north. The farther you go the twistier they get! You will arrive at Calabogie Motorsports park just before noon and when the current ongoing event breaks for lunch you will drive the track behind a pace vehicle. The track graciously won't charge for this but asks that you make a donation to a charity of their choosing. Next is hearty and delicious lunch at the Redneck Bistro followed by an equally exhilarating drive back to the hotel arriving before 5:00 p.m.

Did you know that your KAPPA is a time machine? Yup, back to the past at Ameliasburg Heritage Village. This lovely trip to the past is a relaxing alternative to the red runs.
You leave the hotel at 9:10 a.m. with a short 1+ hour drive to the Heritage Village (free admission but a donation is appreciated). You'll explore the past for and hour or so and then a short 15 minute drive takes you to the Pounders Waterfront Pub and Patio for a delicious pub style lunch while enjoying the view. After lunch takes you through the enchanting Prince Edward County countryside to the Glenora Ferry. A 20 minute sail (free) and then a ride along the Lake Ontario waterfront gets you back to the hotel before 3:30 p.m.

Just one more. Have you had a long drive to NASSAM or a long run and want a relaxed lunch the next day? This is the one for you. You will leave the hotel at a civilized 10:30 a.m. and a little over an hour drive on some fun twisty roads gets you to the The Crossing Pub for a relaxed lunch. A comfortable drive takes you back to the hotel for 2:30...in time for a snooze or to explore Kingston.

You are signing up for your car NOT the number of people.
Please don't double book.
